Good Morning Readers,
Ugh, mid-week lull….As I said last week here, I’m fully on the blue and white bandwagon. Pictured below are my Ebay purchases/steals so far. Not sure if this is their permanent spot, but for now being up on the mantel keeps these beauties out of my 2 year old’s mitts.
As I said, the blue & white vases came from Ebay, prices between $6.99 and $13.00. The other floral vase I inherited from my mom. I think it was a wedding gift to her and she really liked it. I do too. The sconces are Baldwin Brass, I pretty sure. Also, inherited from my mom. The painting (which you can’t really see) is by an artist from Beaufort, SC, my hometown.
Next addition chez Callen is my anniversary gift from Big G–an Erin Gates for Jill Rosenwald vase. I’m kind of obsessed with black & white and herringbone right now. It’s perf. This piece will probably roam around the house.
Vase by Jill Rosenwald, three little birdies from the Lucketts Spring Market, lamp was a wedding gift, and pics are sweet Chas and Miss Lady. Sterling frame was a high school graduation gift and the black frame is probably Target.
Next switcheroo is my West Elm Orange lacquered tray. It was here, but this got booorrrinnng.
I’m a huge fan of these trays. I think they make wonderful gifts. Perfect price point. Check them out here. Mine is the large rectangular. These go on sale quite often so snatch them up when they do.
Now the tray is here adding crazy color to my formal living room.
From Left to Right:
Portrait–Sweet Chas by Jane Angelhart, an amazing water color portrait artist.
Console refinished by Blue Egg Brown Nest
Silver bowl (far right) to catch keys from my mom
Sterling compote–from Ebay
Turquoise pottery to hold Miss Lady’s hair bows & $ is by Sierra Clay Art on Etsy. This WAS my french butter crock but Big G broke the top–so sad.
Nest–also from Blue Egg Brown Nest, link above
Crystal votive–inherited from my mom
Sterling candy dish–inherited from my mom
Miscellaneous products for my ninos. Key product is bug spray. Mosquitoes think Baby G is delish. When they see him coming he’s like a Happy Meal for them.
I was inspired to redo the console by this post over on isuwannee. Check it out. Clearly, mine needs some tweaking but it’s a work in progress, like my whole house.
